      Lindamood-Bell Programs

Many schools and practitioners have bought the book and seen the film, but just how do you incorporate Lindamood-Bell's wonderful world of literacy and language into your school or practice?

I am one of the few lucky practitioners in Australia who worked for Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes in the brief time they were in Sydney. I have training from the horse's mouth, so to speak. I am therefore offering to schools and practitioners workshops on implementation of these programs within their academic or business framework.

The Lindamood Phoneme Sequencing Program - a world-class, research-based literacy acquisition program. The LiPS Program tackles phonemic awareness, sight words and spelling rules in a seamless, logical, unique way. This is the only program I am aware of that actually changes neurological structure to help students deal with print from the phonemic level onwards. Read a review here.

      Lindamood Phoneme Sequencing Review

The Nanci Bell Seeing Stars Program - the theory and techniques to practice "symbol imagery", the ability to visualize letters in words. Perfect as an adjunct to the LiPS program; incredibly successful as the solution to visual and auditory integration problems in students.

"Lyn was fantastic, her knowledge is astounding, I can now go back with a knowledge and understanding of the program…"

Gabrielle Denke, Seymour Technical High School

The Nanci Bell Visualizing and Verbalizing Program - for students who have difficulty with comprehension skills, such as concluding, predicting, ordering, ranking, recalling facts and understanding the main idea in text and conversation. Very useful for autism spectrum students. While most language therapies exercise the above skills, Visualizing and Verbalizing actually creates the mental facility to acquire these skills.

"I liked the whole method, approach and I especially liked the positive responses given when others gave incorrect responses. I was able to stay on task and was fully involved throughout the day, even at 6 o'clock."

Janine McAuliffe, Haslem Street Primary School
